Information Exchange Center
For a number of years now, professionals serving refugees in different regions of the country have been involved in providing Marriage/Family Relationships Education to refugees from all over the world. We know it can make a difference in lives of refugee families and in their successful cultural adjustment. Over the years the different sites involved in the Refugee Healthy Marriage Initiative have worked together and achieved a great deal.
We believe it is important and timely to increase the level of communication and information exchange between professionals and volunteers doing this important work. The web-based Refugee Healthy Marriage Resource & Information Exchange Center (IEC) offers an opportunity to stay connected with colleagues providing Marriage/Family Relationships Education for refugees nationwide, to network, and to learn from each other.
The Information Exchange Center provides news on what is happening in the fields of marriage education and cultural diversity as well as at specific Refugee Healthy Marriage Initiative sites. You will find unique stories, articles about conferences, tips and suggestions from HIAS’s Technical Assistance Trainers, as well as interesting resources and links.
You can become a part of this exciting project and help us collect valuable information and real stories about refugees benefiting from Marriage/Family Relationships Education programs.
